ROCKBARE BURVILL

The 'Burvill' utilises the best fruit I can source from McLaren Vale in 2006 (a biodynamic vineyard from the Seaview sub-region), two years in a blend of new and aged oak, and finally a further two years maturing in bottle. With much anticipation I am very excited to finally release this wine to you as a symbol of my journey and love of Shiraz.

4 stars & best of new release
Big, warm-climate style, with the bouquet showing nice savoury elements. Similar palate, excellent flavour complexity, toasty oak and strong tannins.

Very good example of the velvet style that often emerge from the Vale lacking on the complexities to make it an intellectual drink enticing debate but held its own in company 93 points
